Mission Statement

REAL is an agency committed to providing quality services to foster care youth who are ready to work towards successful independence. We will work in collaboration with friends, family and community in order to accomplish this task. REAL advocates on behalf of all youth in our program, to promote their success and independence, by providing life skills, encouragement, and assistance with accomplishing their goals. There are 4 core values/concepts of the REAL Program:


Responsibility – encourage youth to accept responsibility for their decisions and actions


Education – is an important ingredient for success and is strongly encouraged to highest levels


Advocacy – will be provided and modeled for all youth regarding legal and moral situations


Life skills – will be taught and developed for all youth as a successful component of independence
